WeightControl app for iPhone and iPad
WeightControl is an application to track your weight visually, making it the perfect complement for people starting a diet or sportmen who want to grow their muscular mass.
WeightControl is designed for people who want to gain or lose weight, or just want to keep track of this.
Thanks to the historical weight measurements you will see your progress, for weeks, months or years, easily graphically and can also observe the trend of your weight in certain moments in history. You can also view your weighing in a list, where you can watch the progress of your weight over time.
Another interesting aspect is the application that lets you define milestones to help motivate you to reach your ideal weight.
The units of measurement and targets can be easily changed in the application preferences.
You can read the applications manual on the following website: http://www.lucera-project.com/weightcontrol/
Pros and cons of WeightControl app for iPhone and iPad
WeightControl app good for
5 stars to average out the complainers below. Seriously, to change the units, just go to settings on your iPhone and scroll all the way down. :p
Description says you can change units in preferences but not seeing this at all - I would like pounds and inches please! Also have put weight in for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th January but this isnt showing up in weekly statistics. Why not? Otherwise looks like a potentially useful app.
Update- thanks Spawnily, never thought to look there! Only issue is that Id put in numbers in kilos and they were automatically converted to pounds with no way to edit (aargh, I dont weigh that many pounds!!!!) so had to delete and redownload to enter correct data. So my rating has gone up to 5 stars but a way to edit previously entered info would sure be handy!
Some bad moments
I was SO excited to find this app. Thought it would really help keep me motivated during my weight loss.
But, in spite of all my efforts--including repeatedly deleting and reinstalling, I still cannot find the "Preferences" page to change the settings to lbs & inches.
Giving the app a 2-star because of the potential. But will happily change to a 5-star when the app is fixed.
